Bogor, April 16, 2025 – CUCAS Indonesia conducted a visit to SMK Pariwisata Metland, Bogor, to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the Study in China Center program. This initiative will streamline the application process and scholarship distribution for Chinese universities to 30 high schools (SMA & SMK) in the Bogor region. The program serves as a direct bridge for Indonesian students to access high-quality education in China—one of the world’s leading nations in higher education.

The visit was facilitated by Ibu Dina Marthaswati Tiraswati, a member of the National Supervisors Association (APS Indonesia) Central Board and Supervisor for Vocational Schools in West Java Region 1, and Bapak Darmawan Sunarja, Principal of SMK Pariwisata Metland. Both education leaders played a vital role in supporting this collaboration, advancing educational opportunities and expanding international access for students in the region.

During the visit, CUCAS Indonesia not only introduced the Study in China Center program but also presented various other enriching initiatives available to partner schools. Programs such as Summer and Winter Camps, study tours to Chinese universities, education fairs, and entrance exam preparation sessions were highlighted as key features. These programs are designed to provide students with global perspectives, cultural experiences, and stronger academic preparation.

The visit concluded with a tour of SMK Pariwisata Metland’s facilities, where the CUCAS team had the opportunity to sample culinary products made by the students. The hospitality and professionalism displayed by both students and staff left a lasting impression on the entire team.

We hope this collaboration will bring positive impact to the future of education in Indonesia. Through the Study in China Center program, Indonesian students gain greater access to quality education in China, while also strengthening bilateral ties between the two nations. May this synergy inspire Indonesia’s younger generation to continue excelling and contributing to national progress.
